Dr. Köppelle is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy with many years of clinical experience in inpatient care, particularly in the treatment of affective disorders and integrated depression treatment. After completing her medical studies at the University of Sarajevo (MD degree) and holding several medical positions in Bosnia, she completed her specialist training in Germany (2006–2013) and obtained her board certification as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy in Munich in 2013.

She has extensive professional experience as a resident physician, ward physician, specialist physician, and most recently as a senior consultant (2020–2024) on a private inpatient unit at Bezirksklinikum Mainkofen. Her psychotherapeutic qualifications have been further strengthened through advanced training in depth psychology-based psychotherapy, Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), Balint group work, and biofeedback. Since October 2023, she has also been practicing as a therapist for depth psychology-based psychotherapy.
